GDIT is seeking a professional with Electronic Health Record Promoting Interoperability (formerly Meaningful Use) Federal health policy experience for a software development and support contract. This position works with clinicians, developers, and federal staff to document changes and requirements for clinical applications.
Provide subject matter expertise in the review, interpret, analyze, and adopt PI and Health IT policy.
Interfaces with ONC, CMS, the CHIO, and EHR project teams.
Supports EHR project teams and advises on the interpretation of ONC rules and criteria in the support of achieving 2015 ONC Certification.
Supports the client HIMSS informaticist.
Supports application and development teams in gathering requirements for development, testing, and certification of EHRs.
Performs Federal Health Policy analysis and its impacts on and inter-relationships with EHR applications.
Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
Serves as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.
Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel
Performs national and local training sessions demonstrating PI, attestation, and auditing requirements for both Medicare and Medicaid.
Participates in special projects as required.

Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects
Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance CSM or Scaled Agile SAFe considered a plus.
15+ years experience with Health IT and EHR systems.
Actively participated in EHR teams that achieved MU2/3 certification.
Demonstrated experience working with ONC, CMS, the CHIO, and EHR project teams is required.
