GDIT is looking for a SharePoint Developer to provide development for Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) on their Defense Enterprise Portal (DEPS) subsite, Implementation Information Exchange (IIEx).

NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract re-award and funding.

IIEx is a DEPS tool that tracks implementation actions using provided circuit action artifacts, implementation information, and supporting documents. Reports and dashboards are generated from this information for various implementation projects.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Function as the Site Administrator for the government owned site, Implementation Information Exchange (IIEx)
    • Monitor storage metrics for the site collection
    • Establish, grant, and maintain appropriate levels of users permissions
    • Create new lists or libraries as needed
  • Customization of both Quick Launch and Top Links navigation
    • Navigation may be permission based
  • Collaborate with users to plan, develop, and document new or enhanced functionality to meet mission needs
    • Dashboards customized by project code, time frame, and action types
    • Reports consolidating actions for implementation briefings
    • Development new content structures as new projects are supported
    • Data exports to support wide variety of reporting needs
    • Data imports from various sources
  • Develop custom workflows using Nintex or SharePoint Designer to automate updates and archiving, send notifications, and create approval processes
  • Develop custom Microsoft Access modules to handle complex processing of circuit action messages
    • Exporting Outlook message traffic
    • Parsing messages for key content areas
    • Importing into designated SharePoint lists for further updates
  • Responsible for creating site/user documentation and operating procedures including site processes and specific procedures
    • Including support of training needs for all users
  • Enhance the SharePoint site by researching and providing out-of-the-box solutions for complex requirements
  • Use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBA, and JQuery to further customize content
  • Participation in weekly status meetings and addressing all submitted issue trackers
  • Build strong connections with users and stakeholders of the SharePoint services being provided

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification
