GDIT’s DOJ/OJP team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Developer to join our agile teams. As part of our agile team, you will be working closely with other agile team members and Federal staff to implement and maintain the Cold Fusion based web applications as well as utilize Moodle, EZRO 2 on Apache servers.
Designs, develops and maintains ColdFusion applications.
Coding application logic via ColdFusion
Adheres to industry standard best practices for software development and maintenance.
Identifies and leads the way for making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
Troubleshoots production issues and recommends innovative and effective solutions.
Quickly identifies defects and their root cause during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Leads the design, development and implementation of software modifications in response to system change requests.
Works closely with Federal customer to ensure system functions according to stakeholder needs.
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
Monitor for new upgrades, releases, version updates, service packs, or patches that would improve the current system environment.
Communicate status updates, development plans, and benefit analysis with clients and team leadership
Create and update relevant plans and documentation to support development efforts
ColdFusion development experience with enterprise level applications
Knowledge of Moodle, EZRO 2 on Apache servers
Experience in Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
6+ years of developer experience
6+ years working with teams in an Agile development environment
3+ years’ experience with SQL Server databases
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related field
Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and technical personnel.
Contract Requires US Citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Agency specific Public Trust clearance
