We are GDIT. The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country. We ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work has meaning and impact on the world around us, but also on us, and that’s important.
GDIT is your place. You make it your own by embracing autonomy, seizing opportunity, and being trusted to deliver your best every day.
We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. And our work depends on an Administrative Assistant III joining our team to support our client.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:
Maintaining the calendars for Chief and Deputy Chief, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling VTCs and booking conference rooms, directing incoming visitors, formatting and coordinating memos, setting up computer accounts, and providing other ad hoc general admin support to the whole staff
The AA will have moderate supervision conducting this primarily transactional work. Data entry, research and coordination efforts will require a level of autonomy and discretion/critical thinking skills
The Sponsor Office has numerous senior and OGA visitors; as this is a customer-facing position with the AA being the face of the Sponsor Office to visitors and interfacing with other Agency elements, the AA must exhibit professional decorum
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The Sponsor Office is seeking either a full time or a part-time officer ideally available during core hours of 9-3 (we are flexible on the specific hours worked, but request a start time no earlier than 8am and end time no later than 5pm); we are willing to work a flex schedule if the officer is not available five days a week
The AA will need to posses excellent critical thinking skills when deconflicting calendars, scheduling meetings, completing document updates, and tracking actions/tasks in sponsor systems.
Must possess effective communication skills
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:
401K with company match
Challenging work that makes a real impact on the world around you
Diverse, highly collaborative teams
A culture of mobility to foster your career growth goals
Education and training opportunities
