Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Serves as the Team Lead for the Network Operations Center personnel
Provides workflow, monitoring, and incident response oversight to the team while actively participating in continual service improvement activities
Develops, implements, and assures compliance with operational protocols and policies
Ensures 24x7 coverage is in place at high service quality levels
Ensures clear and effective communication to external stakeholders and vendor partners
Performs day to day provisioning and service management support of telecommunications facilities and services in a nationwide enterprise environment.
Works with telecommunications providers throughout the country to coordinate the installation, repair and maintenance of infrastructure located at various CONUS facilities
Acts as an escalation point for service related issues and is responsible for managing reported troubles, coordinating with client, vendors and technical support to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Coordinates with clients to develop service requirements and delivery intervals.
Monitors performance of circuits and network infrastructure across the enterprise.
Initiates investigations of network performance anomalies and degradations; collaborates with system owners and platform teams to identify root cause and communicate key stakeholders
