We are seeking an Optimization Engineer on site at MacDill Air Force Base. To be considered, candidates MUST HAVE an active TS/SCI.
Optimization Engineer performs tier two and three systems support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Optimization Engineers must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of optimization hardware and software for application and network optimization. Experience in traffic analysis and management, security, communication, and encryption is required. Perform testing and analysis of network and application traffic to baseline performance and optimize and shape traffic flow. Responsible for planning, modeling, design, installation, maintenance, and management of software and appliance solutions to optimize traffic. The Optimization Engineer monitors and controls the performance and status of resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting performance. The Optimization Engineer keeps his or her technical skills updated and studies vendor products to determine those which best meet the Government’s needs.
