GDIT was recently awarded the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract.  We are providing knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 JSF Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training. 

 

We are building a team of dedicated professionals and are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist.

 

Provides development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of the contract.  Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process.  May be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.  Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.  Develops and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.  Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules. Ensures functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.

  • MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering. 
    • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:  An additional four (4) years of experience with a BA/BS can be substituted for a MA or MS degree

  • Ten (10) years' experience with software and system quality assurance, including design, development, and execution of test plans, detection of software failures, analysis and document of test results, system and application functional verifications, problem diagnosis and resolution, chance management, regression testing, configuration management, and release management
  • Six (6) years' experience with designing and executing test plans and test cases on computer and software applications and systems.
  • Six (6) years' experience with automating test cases, using defect tracking systems, and testing high performance and large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Three (3) years' experience maintaining the Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM) with imbedded Testability Matrix that maps test methods and events, test scripts, scenarios, and test results to the applicable requirement, to include test-related artifact changes.
  • Security Clearance: Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.
