Our work depends on a Cyber Security Engineer joining our team to strengthen our enterprise against the cyber threats of the present and in the future.  You will become part of an expanding DevSecOps team reporting to our lead architect and working with government engineers to maintain, modify, and redesign complex network architectures in an unclassified and classified environment.


  • Protect our enterprise and our client’s mission with your cyber security expertise.
  • Represent program as the cyber security lead with emphasis on network engineering.
  • Collaborate with client and program personnel to deliver technical innovation.
  • Interface with ISSMs from our three governing bodies.
  • Perform a full range of upgrades in accordance with NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capability packages (MSC, MA, WLAN, DAR) and existing network architecture.
  • Control network management activities, data flows and firewall rules.
  • Contribute to the development of junior technical personnel.
  • Excel on a small program that is preparing to expand by gaining exposure to other technical areas within the enterprise.


  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent in computer science, computer systems engineering, cyber security, or network engineering
  • Experience: 5+ years in network and/or cyber security field including.  Capstone project work will be considered.  Hands on experience with Cisco ASA platforms with AnyConnect, Juniper SRX platforms, and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Technical skills: Backgrounds in deployment/scaling/upgrading enterprise SIEMs (ex. JUNOS Space, McAfee, Nessus or Splunk). 
  • Professional certifications:  CISSP, CCIE, JNCP, JNCIE are a plus
  • Security clearance level: Minimum SECRET; willingness to submit to TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Skills and abilities: Hands on configuration of Cisco/Juniper firewalls, routers, and switches. 
  • Location: Split between GDIT Facility in Sterling, VA and client site in Herndon, VA
