GDIT is hiring a Training Manager in support of the USSOUTHCOM SCITES Program.Primary Responsibilities:Provides training services for all COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed software created, procured or maintained through SCITES supporting both government and non-government personnel to the level of knowledge to effectively use and manage these apps/systems across the enterprise.Develop new or update existing curriculum for all training, including instructor-led, face-to-face classroom training or web/computer-based training.Deploy web/computer-based training.Generate and schedule automated alerts to customer stakeholders informing of upcoming trainings, deadlines, instructions, availability and role-based requirements.Develop and implement automated workflow for training notifications (e.g., nearing due date, overdue, completions, etc.)Gather and report participant attendance and feedback for all training classes and training materials.Experience with 508 Compliance training materials (training books/packets that contain the information covered in the classes), modules, and curriculum for requisite components of the customer’s IT Environment.Conduct Section 508 Compliance training for requisite components of the customer’s IT Environment. This includes providing ongoing training / training materials throughout the year.Develop and provide training documentation including, but not limited to, hard-copy written manuals, soft-copy written manuals, training aids, classroom-based training, computer-based training, one-on-one live training, and train the trainer.Required Qualifications:Secret clearance requiredBA/BS with 5 - 8+ years of experience. Desired Certifications/Experience:CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) preferredExperience training through Webex, Skype and other online learning tools.Excellent written and oral communications skillsEducation Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or commensurate level of experience based on position level (Associate, Journeyman, Senior, etc….)* Additional experience can be substituted for formal education (e.g. 2 years’ experience = 1-year formal education)Clearance: SecretShift Work: No.Travel: Less than 10%
