GDIT is seeking a Program Manager for a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) providing Information Security as a Service (ISaaS) support to cybersecurity stakeholders / information system (IS) owners. This PM will recruit and manage a selectively sustainable and highly knowledgeable cybersecurity workforce, and provide talent management and recruiting of Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), and Information Systems Security Representative (ISSR) experts delivering vulnerability, compliance, and risk management services. The program manager will support our customer in their mission to:
Support the build of an centralized customer recruiting resource to acquire a fully certified cybersecurity workforce that is readily available at all times
Manage personnel on a myriad of contracts throughout the enterprise
Optimize financial investments focusing on cost savings
Avoid contract negotiation hurdles and procurement delays by working closely with contract management professionals to ensure timely delivery of resources and services.
Train a robust internal IT workforce that adapts to today’s evolving technology
Create a mission-focused IT security environment that supports the our customer workforce
Prioritize efficiency and encouraging innovation
Integrate security into all aspects of IT information systems
Provide comprehensive delivery of services and establish on and off-boarding processes that enhance the recruiting experience for incoming professionals.
The Program Manager is responsible for the performance of all contract requirements. The scope consists of 1) Information Systems Security Engineering; 2) Information Systems Security Management; and 3) Information Systems Security Maintenance; 4) cybersecurity strategy, training and services to the customer enterprise. Responsibilities include ensuring:
The contract is properly and adequately staffed with cleared and qualified personnel capable of performing all contract requirements
All contract requirements are performed in a way that maintains security integrity at all levels and at all times
All contract deliverables are accurate and are delivered correctly and on time
All required support services are efficiently and effectively managed at the designated place(s) of performance
All assigned tasks are created and performed promptly and correctly, and work is performed on time and at the agreed prices
An Operations Manual with detailed Continuity of Operations procedures is developed, kept current , to include quality control procedures, for supporting the product lifecycle management
All required documentation is captured and recorded in accordance with federal record retention policies
10 years of relevant experience providing project management support for enterprise level IT projects
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, or IT-related discipline is preferred
A project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certifications preferred
