HOW A USER ENGAGEMENT LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:

Provides expertise in the determination of user needs and mission objectives. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats. Designs and develops IT system specifications that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's/customer's information systems architecture standards. Creates or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to IT systems and programs.

Job Duties:

  • Conducts UAT testing on behalf of the Product Owner prior to validation and deployment
  • Works daily as the liaison between the customer stakeholders/users and the agile scrum teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable features and user stories.  
  • Aligns to customer strategic requirements
  • Member of the planning teams at all levels and serves as the expert on user needs
  • Works closely with the technical trainer to bring relevant training to the end users
  • Works with the operations team to understand trends in user behavior and evaluates these needs to determine where they belong in the backlog of requirements
  • Assists the agile scrum teams in managing the backlog of requirements
  • Responsible for leading the testing and validating business requirements have been implemented as required prior to project go-live.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing events to test and verify that solutions meet the requirements defined by stakeholders for successful project delivery.
  • Establish, own and drive UAT testing activities from start to finish for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for UAT planning, test case specification, test execution, defect management and test status reporting activities.
  • Create and manage a UAT plan for each UAT event. Identify and manage risks, issues, mitigations and action items to closure, as they pertain to UAT.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Skills /Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 4 additional years of experience in information technology.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, verification of actual results against expected results and documentation of results.
  • Project management experience in delivering high quality work under tight timelines.
