We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, working out of our Herndon/McLearen Road location.

Cost accounting, revenue recognition, subcontractor financial management, At-Risk coordination, forecasting, EAC development and documentation, variance analysis, invoice preparation/review and cash flow management
Interface with project managers and business leaders on a regular basis
Communicate with all levels of management
Review and understand contract terms and contribute effectively to the job setup and closeout processes
Provide data and financial analysis in support of external customer requirements, Group/Corporate data calls and audit requests
Act proactively and shows initiative with regard to risk assessment, escalation and mitigation
Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
Leads pricing efforts and is able to create detailed financial models
Work with Program Managers to optimize profitability and Operating Income
Perform ad hoc analysis as required
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years related experience, or nine (9) years related experience in lieu of degree
Experience working with project management including budget development and project planning
Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, etc.)
Experience within Federal Contracting and cost/revenue accounting environment for multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF)
Familiarity and exposure/experience with Oracle
Capability of providing deliverables with excellence and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities
Comfortable working with business clients, facilitating discussions, building consensus, assimilating processes and building relationships
