Manages the day-to-day courseware operations of tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, and assist in resource allocation.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor courseware production activities in support for Sailor 2025 contracts; review, update, and implement efficient production workflows; facilitate effective production-related communications across multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • assist in overall planning and coordination of courseware production activities, in support of the Program Manager, including ICW level 1-4, simulations, performance support elements, and media data collection
  • study and interpret contractual production requirements, specifications, characteristics, or other types of requirements related to courseware delivery
  • provide technical and functional leadership to a dispersed team of multimedia specialists and production personnel to facilitate consistency and efficiency across project teams
  • work with the Program Manager, Technical Director, Rating Team Leads and various other team members (vertically and laterally) during courseware development to ensure adherence to style and design requirements
  • work with the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Rating Team Leads to understand production workload and schedule requirements across projects
  • ensure assigned staff are tasked based on program priority and requirements set by the Program Manager
  • support development and documentation of business rules and workflow production toolsets
  • support timely delivery of courseware products in accordance with CDRL requirements across all projects
  • support review and revision of quality processes and checklists to maximize efficiency and ensure quality outputs
  • provide input to schedules, basis of estimates, and proposals
  • identify and track courseware production performance metrics
  • support internal training activities to improve production team work methods, processes, and tools
  • identify employee development opportunities related to production
  • lead internal production meetings
  • collaborate with T&E Lead to ensure products are ready for internal and external test events
  • coordinate product updates as needed with the project teams

Requirements include:

  • BA/BA degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience supporting courseware production for large-scale programs in a fast-paced environment:
  • Working knowledge of Navy courseware requirements and environments
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desired Secret Clearance
