Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Program/Project Manager in support of the Headquarters, US Army Medical Research and Development Command (HQ USAMRDC) for Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Support Services at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Act as single point of contact for the Government COR for overall management of the contract team while providing project planning, estimation, and staff assignment preparation.
•    Assist in the creation of a joint database for JTAPIC and its partner organizations
•    Implementation of large-scale information technology and business process redesign projects
•    Reporting to the DCSIM, JTAPIC Director and/or executive committee on a regular basis
•    Implementing appropriate methodology to ensure proper tasks, deliverables and resources are applied
•    Assisting in shaping and influencing the direction of the program/project in terms of scope and timing while working with functional partners
•    Maintaining focus on the overall "big picture" and how to integrate each project within the larger enterprise infrastructure
•    Creating concept and definition phase deliverables and partnering with solution management resources on both business and IT
•    Evaluates, determines, and documents specific requirements related to ECO monitoring projects and translates those requirements into a roadmap with target release dates for accomplishment.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    A Bachelor’s Degree in Business in Health Administration, Information Systems Security, or Computer Information Systems.
•    Have at least six (6) years of experience in managing all aspects of Health IT projects, including the determination of appropriate products or services, coordination between project office, and integration of project activities within the current day to day workflow.
•    Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
•    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
•    CompTIA Security+
•    CompTIA A+
•    CompTIA Network+
•    Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)

Travel Required: Less than 10%
