This position is an administrative position and responsibilities include: terminating clearances, unterm (reactivate) clearances, and update contract numbers and organizational strings for active clearances. Candidate is responsible for providing guidance to customers, analyzing problems, providing recommendations to the Business Manager for resolution, implementing solutions, and following up with customer as needed. The majority of the work performed is behind the scenes with limited customer facing to prevent work interruption and maximize productivity. Majority of communication is via email and phone. Candidate must have professional verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate complex information to personnel of all levels across the Sponsor and its external customer base. Candidate must have the patience and skill to clearly define a problem at the level appropriate to the audience and provide the steps to resolve. This offices work schedule is flexible; however, arrival time should be no later than 0900 hours. This is a busy environment, but little to no extended hours or weekend hours are required. The work does not require lifting of any amount of weight or standing on their feet for an extended period. Travel to other buildings outside of the Chantilly area are very infrequent, if at all required.
