WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experience in the design and security of SQL Server database management and comprehensive stored procedure, relational data handling while implementing solutions within Azure GovCloud. A minimum of 3 years of design, development, and deployment of Azure Functions, Azure Application Services, Azure SQL and Azure Storage Blobs, Tables, and Queues is a requirement. Additional responsibilities include participating in the entire agile software development lifecycle, debugging and configuring existing applications and systems, test plans and interaction with users of the software. Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, Angular, GIT, and familiarity of data processing depending on critical client needs. Significant understanding and implementation of 508 compliance guidelines for web applications across multiple browser types and versions. The ability to design and implement complex financial management and reporting solutions, from a customer, individually or as part of a team, is a must.

• Web developer with 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing online applications.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent skills and experience.
• Experienced with handling a variety of tasks and changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; conceptual and practical thinker.
• Detail-oriented; able to analyze problems and develop innovative software solutions. 
• Works well individually or as part of a team.
• Knowledgeable in C#, VB .net, ASP.net, HTML, SQL.
• Familiar with Javascript, JQuery, CSS, XML
• Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Tortoise GIT, and SQL Server Management Studio
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology, Jira, GitLab, Confluence
• Ability to design and implement custom code for all aspects of a 3-tier web application:  Relational database design and stored procedures; business logic and data access code; user interface for data views and data collection forms.
• Extensive knowledge base on the web and database components of the 4Sight Enterprise tool suite; including Purchase Requests, Asset Management, Transportation, ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude), Personnel/Positions, and Travel modules.
• Experience integrating ASP components with custom code, including Entity Framework, Azure functions, Azure storage (tables and queues), and various third party tools
• This person needs to understand the basics of software development and the chosen toolset to manage assigned tasks, but also needs to understand the overall architecture of the system. The successful developer needs to know the impact of the choices they make to solve the problem at hand both in the immediate and the future.
• Ability to address difficult software development tasks, understand the customer’s needs and customer support
• Ability to perform at all levels of software development cycle as needed; including translating user requirements to functional design, software development, database management, maintaining and enhancing application code to implementation and customer support.
