As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer on the Zero Trust Program team, your responsibilities will include:
Assessing current/forecasted customer demand to identify, innovate, design, and build strategies around new Zero Trust opportunities from end-to-end. This is a team effort, and your focus will be on integrating the components provided by our Zero Trust partner community in an extensible manner
Developing a flexible platform to allow for rapid integration of capabilities provides by new partners and/or emerging capabilities from GDIT’s current Zero Trust partner landscape
Recognized as a subject matter expert in developing Zero Trust solutions for customers in the public sector market
Providing expert knowledge for the research, evaluation, and development of advanced cybersecurity solutions incorporating data analytics/visualization, automation, threat intelligence, SIEM/SOAR, and UEBA technologies into an integrated solution aligned to customer mission needs
Providing expert knowledge for the development of Zero Trust architecture designs to optimize mission effectiveness across all aspects of cybersecurity
Providing expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced personnel
May serve as a task or project leader (not a people manager)
In order to be considered:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and 5+ years of Cyber Security experience
Allowable Substitution for Bachelor's Degree is an additional 4 years of relevant experience
Active SECRET clearance and able to obtain/maintain Top Secret or higher
The likely salary range for this position is $144,000 - $216,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
