Edits material for punctuation, grammar, and content.
Identifies contextual errors, reorganizes content, and edits graphics, tables, and illustrations.
Participates in the process of crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing articulate articles.
Collaborates closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate content.
The successful candidate will possess:
Two (2) years of experience performing technical writing and editing functions.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of experience in addition to the 2 above, can be used in lieu of the education requirement.
Experience developing drafts, revising and editing reports, articles, manuals, specifications, presentation materials, and other technical documents
Experience interpreting information obtained through research or provided by technical specialists
Experience applying knowledge of field-specific documentation content and format standards to prepare, edit, and publish technical materials
