Responsibilities:

  • Experience in direct or indirect oversight of software development, integration services, Operations and maintenance, O365 and SharePoint support, and data modernization initiatives.
  • Direct and manage IT project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop full-scale IT project plans and communications documents.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in IT project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise IT project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Qualifications:  

  • Master’s Degree and PMP Preferred
  • 10+ years progressive experience in managing/leading IT programs

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience leading teams of at least 25+ technical contributors
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing software development projects
  • Leadership qualities that translate into business outcomes – specifically around team building and cohesion, client relationship development, and strategic thinking
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, both verbal and written.  Must have the ability to present in front of audiences of any size
  • Experience in the Public Health sector (preferred)
