We are an established team of 90+ who are working with Custom Border Protection (CBP) at Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD) to help them accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.

We are an established team seeking a mid-level Java developer (3+ years’ experience)

  • 3+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
  • Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
  • 2+ years’ experience of programming frameworks like Spring or Angular
  • 2+ years’ experience with web services development – SOAP/REST
  • 1+ years’ experience of UI development
  • Experience writing automated unit tests
  • Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
  • Experience working on an Agile Team
  • Willingness and ability to support and mentor other team members

Candidates must be local to the office. Our team works 100% remote at present.  Later in 2021 we expect to transition to a blended remote/onsite (Ashburn, VA) work week.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
