Applicants outside of the Pensacola, FL area will telecommute and must meet the requirements of GDIT's telecommuting policy. Candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal distraction and have secure, dependable high-speed internet.

Candidate must be a US citizen and be able to pass a qualifying background investigation to meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC). Candidates with a qualifying background investigation (NACLC or higher within the last 10 years), will receive preferred consideration.

Preferred qualifications: The Curriculum Developer will be knowledgeable in the use of NAVEDTRA 130 – 140 (series) and NETCINST 1510.3(series), and have the requisite knowledge and experience necessary to design and develop curriculum for ILT, ILE, and IMI training, including: Plan and design training materials including tasks, learning objectives, content, instructional strategies, learning events and activities, and test items; design interface and controls for IMI products; develop lesson plans, exercise controller guides, on-the-job training handbooks, and student materials; develop tests, testing plans, test administrator's guides, test question spreadsheets (typically Excel formats).

Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Analyze learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.

Outline the concept for course or curriculum, defining the needs for the course, the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches.

Develop learning solution documentation (e.g., storyboards, project schedules, video scripts, job aids, and courseware).

Develop and monitor metrics for evaluating training and development effectiveness.

Experience with instructional design methodologies.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Also possesses strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
