HVAC Generator Field Service Representative (TESA) - Germany (Secret Clearance Required)

GDIT is currently looking for a Field Service (GENERATOR/HVAC) Representative in Kaiserslautern, Germany  Must have experience and qualifications for both Generators and HVAC. Must have a current and active Secret clearance.

The Field Service Engineer Supervisor reports directly to Project/Task Supervisor.

As the selected GENERATOR/HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
• Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
• Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
• Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
• Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
• Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements.
• Complete QA/QC inspections on residential installation projects
• Work with Production Control Manager and Logistics Manager to order and return material and equipment.
• Complete all associated paperwork in neat and timely manner.
• Provide feedback and updates to the COTR (Government Officer Task Representative), the Contractor Project/Task Supervisor.

NOTE: Travel will be Require to Other European Countries.

* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on work-site. Employee is require to purchase the PPE and Safety Shoes.

Candidate is required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support the Contract.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Citizenship
• Must have a current and active Secret clearance.

TESA Accreditation Requirements:

A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience,

OR; An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,

OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,

OR;  11 years of recent specialized experience
