This position will be responsible for detailed system documentation, updating of help systems, and creation of Job Aids.
Write easy to understand technical specifications, reports and technical documentation in a clear and concise manner as needed.
Develop effective communication with technical as well as non-technical staff at all levels (from top management within the organization to the end user in the work environment)
Collect, organize, analyze and evaluate technical and non-technical information
Transfer technical information into powerful graphs, flowcharts and tables or spread sheets for presentation as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in editing technical documents
FrameMaker experience and/or knowledge
Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction
Strong understand basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other tools/software
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience

Current USPS COVID policy may allow telecommuting. Once the USPS COVID policy is rescinded, personnel will be required to report to location on full time basis.
The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days. We can only accept Green Card Holders or US Citizens for this program.
