Each Mission Training Complexes (MTC) Simulation Support Team (SST) will be capable of supporting one large (multi-echelon) and one medium scale (single echelon) Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) supported exercise simultaneously. A qualified applicant can install, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot communications and application configurations. The individual can establish network addresses and connections, monitor and analyze system performance, recommend and perform application maintenance, conduct upgrades as needed, conduct data backups, and system recovery. Also, the applicant will be able to install information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) patches, security updates, respond to critical vulnerabilities, and conduct remediation before, during, and after training exercises using the JLCCTC suite and a friend of the federation.
GDIT is looking for SMEs in Network Engineering, System Engineering, Simulation Development, and Terrain DBA. SMEs that meet the preferred requirements, might qualify for SST Lead positions.
Experience with WARSIM training environment technical, networking, exercise design, and operational support
IAT Level II Certification
Eight years experience with military training and training support
Three years management experience
Military technical support experience and training requirements at the brigade level or higher
