GDIT is seeking an Account Executive to lead our United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) account and growth strategy. This account and growth strategy will maximize the attainment of client objectives; improve awareness of GDIT product and service offerings; and support the development of an account plan for the pursuit of new initiatives as well as driving organic growth through existing contracts and vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated relationships and an intimacy with USDA stakeholders and organizations to perform this role. A proven record of successfully managing staff and the delivery of varied mission capabilities to a diverse customer base is also required.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Leverage USDA knowledge and relationships and collaborate with GDIT senior growth and delivery executives to develop, execute, and refine the account and growth strategy, in alignment with GDIT’s overall strategic plans and in coordination with leadership.
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors.
Manage GDIT USDA programs and activities to serve as a primary POC to USDA stakeholders.
Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial management, business development activities, and account growth and profitability.
Supervises business development, technical, and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
Supports program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.
Developing staff and ensure ongoing performance as well as professional growth.
Shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life cycle.
Engage with these customers, partners, and other stakeholders to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.
Building a culture throughout the team consistent with GDIT values around commitment, impact, integrity, imagination and agility
Executes call plans with government stakeholders
Works with team to prepare and present gate reviews
10+ years’ Leadership, supervisory, and program management experience within the USDA environment
Extensive background developing business and mission focused capabilities that include IT Services, Cloud, Network Operations, Lifecycle SW development, Cyber, and/or AI solutions.
Experience with USDA budget, investments and acquisition processes.
US Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
