Perform light secondary deburring, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts.
Set up and operation of fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, bending rolls, drill presses to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery and work areas
Installs assemblies according to blueprints, engineering sketches, written instructions or manuals.
Inspects assemblies and installations for conformance with specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometer
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Participates in special projects as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
Technical or vocational training preferred.
1-3 years of related sheet-metal or fabrication experience.
