Our internship program allows you the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative team that is helping to solve our clients most complex issues. Throughout GDITs 10-week summer internship program you will work on innovative projects that touch areas such as business analysis, developing competitive intelligence data visualization, networking, research, data mining, IT/data base support, and other related areas depending on your background and interest. As an intern, you will have real responsibilities and work alongside experienced and innovative industry professionals. Your internship experience will equip you with best in class skills to take back to the classroom.

The Intelligence and Homeland Security Division is looking for a Business Development Associate (Intern) who will support the IHS Division and its business areas as a Business Developer with additional duties as required. The primary focus will be performing Business Intelligence/Competitive Intelligence using govt websites, Open Source data, and our SalesForce database.

Responsibilities:

•    Data analysis
•    Draw meaningful insights from raw data
•    Create computer visualization reports (i.e. Tableau and others)
•    Work with stakeholders to understand what insights are needed to support their business goals
•    Ad hoc reporting
•    Help identify problems and offer solutions that deliver business value and improve customer experience

·       Comfortable working/learning databases (i.e. SalesForce and Tableau) admin (create/update opportunities, reporting, etc.)

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $17.60 - $26.40, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
