The Defense HR Team is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to work in our Falls Church Fairview Park campus. This HR Business Partner (HRBP) role will serve as a single HR point of contact who will be assigned to business area leader(s) to partner and advise on human capital management, employee relations, policy interpretation, organizational structure, and execute business strategies and meet GDITs business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables and the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.  

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The ability to think strategically with programs and operations to deliver solutions, workforce planning, deployment, employee relations, performance management, coaching, team-building, total rewards, and compliance
  • Support the global delivery of HR/Talent initiatives, identify, and manage opportunities within OCONUS Program Teams
  • Flexible skill set to Partner closely with international HR to support the achievement of strategic goals
  • Operate as an HR Leader that is viewed as a trusted partner who is progressive, responsive, consultative, and collaborative in driving win-win solutions
  • Ability to develop strong partnership and collaborate with our HR Centers of Excellence to develop and implement key initiatives – to execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations
  • Implement and drive performance with metrics and reporting. Identify trends based on available data to develop actions to improve employee satisfaction and engagement with cleared talent, driving lower attrition rates across the enterprise
  • Facilitate positive employee and leadership relationships
  • Work with confidential information and communicate with team members with appropriate discretion to their role
  • Engage and support GDIT Strategic Imperatives, Operational Priorities and be an ambassador for the enterprise culture

 QUALIFICATIONS in order to be considered:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 +  years of experience in Human Resources
  • Available for client/team meetings on an as-needed basis
  • Some telecommuting allowed
