This lead will manage a team to provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to Voice Operations, phone operators, and LAN technicians in support of the customer’s environment. This position also requires thought leadership to help move forward the customer’s technology and vison goals, as well as development a short and long term roadmaps.
Oversight and management of O&M support and Voice/LAN projects
Daily onsite troubleshooting for physical cable plant and desktop phones,
Coordination with on-site support personnel while troubleshooting
Major project and routine O&M task/assignment tracking to ensure timely completion and high quality;
Switch technicians to support VoIP adds, moves, and changes;
Use customer’s Enterprise service management tools to initiate, respond, and track service requests;
Review break/fix issues to establish the root causes of issues and ensure proper fixes are implemented;
Creating reports and performance metrics analysis;
Adhere to change management processes and procedures;
Customer relationship management:
Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues;
Provide thought leadership on leveraging technology refresh for evolving and maturing customer’s voice services to include Voice as a Service; and
Be responsive and decisive on recommending architecture solutions as customer requirements and technology evolves.
