As our Software Development Project Manager, you will apply project management and technical knowledge to solve a variety of complex development challenges. You will utilize agile project management methodologies to ensure that our software development project stays on-track, on-time, and in budget. The successful candidate will have a proven record supporting Agile software development including minimal viable product development. The ideal candidate will have Scrum Master experience and be able to support full agile lifecycle including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
In this role you will bring the skills necessary to execute a project to ensure it meets all scope, schedule, resources and quality expectations through the entire project life cycle. Good oral and written communication skills are essential as are interpersonal skills essential to developing and maintaining successful stakeholder relationships. This includes promoting a culture of openness and transparency between the GDIT technical team and CDC stakeholders to enables efficient and effective capture and translation of business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring priorities and resources are aligned to meet project timelines.
