Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
Coordinates hardware and software acquisition.
Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks.
Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Develop, integrate, and maintain hardware and software for existing, emerging, and conceptual networks.
This shall include, but is not limited to, UNIX and Microsoft Windows system administration; secure voice, data, and FMV network technologies.
Develop architectures and domain-specific integration frameworks for battlefield awareness, including the relationships between intelligence process and C2.
Provide computer system administration and network management
Required qualifications include:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience with networking
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and able to obtain a TS/SCI
2+ years of experience with Cisco, including switching and routing
Preferred qualifications include:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
