We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager who is a self-starter and highly motivated to manage a broad spectrum of tax matters.
The ideal candidate will be interested in continuing to develop knowledge and skills in strategic tax analysis, as well as manage daily requirements of tax function with a drive toward efficient execution and process improvements.
Task and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for coordinating matters involving domestic US Taxation and US Taxation of international activities
Responsible for coordinating matters involving foreign taxation and transactions
Development, researching, analyzing and vetting of tax positions w/ Tax Director, Tax Counsel
Responsible for compliance includes relevant calculations (e.g., FDII, GILTI) and information reporting (e.g., Form 5471), preparation of foreign source income, inter-company matrices, applicable schedules and forms
Preparation of foreign earnings and profits calculations
Foreign tax credit compliance and support
Foreign subsidiary quarterly tax provisions and calculations of foreign effective tax rate
Assist with US domestic and international aspects of tax provision
Domestic and foreign cash tax forecasting
Assist with preparation of responses for international audit inquiries
Review and analysis of domestic and international business proposals
Assistance as required on state and local tax matters
Minimum of 5-7 years public accounting, law firm and/or industry experience
Experience with Corptax and Corptax international preferred
US International compliance experience (Forms 5471, 1118, etc.)
Exposure to SFAS 109 and GAAP tax accounting concepts strongly preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel required
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
Must possess excellent attention to detail and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
Must be able to work with little direction and handle multiple tasks successfully and simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills required
Must be able to function efficiently as a team member and create effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
Must be fully proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
