As an IT Program Manager supporting the customer, you will be trusted to manage and complete of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial and business development activities. In this role, a typical day will include:
Problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions and work with customer in providing resolution.
Ability to support Directorate Task Manager with personnel management of 150+ FTEs with a diverse range of skillsets and direct support to customer.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 10 years related experience.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with both responsibility for managing personnel, tasks, and interaction with all levels of customers.
Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, negotiating, presentation (creating /editing) and briefing skills.
Performance of ad hoc tasks as assigned by Directorate Task Manager and customers.
Project and personnel management, ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks/projects and team simultaneously and adjusting seamlessly to changing priorities.
PM or supervisory experience.
Ability to create contract required documents in a timely and detailed manner (technical monthly reports, presentations, etc.)
Ability to lead projects and successfully delegate if needed.
Experience interviewing, conducting performance reviews, counseling of non-performers, documentation, hiring, compensation planning, etc.
Monitor customer satisfaction which includes routine interaction with customers and staff and build strong trusting professional relationships. Formulate metrics as needed to highlight contractor performance.
Must be a self-starter and work with a clear and defined mission.
Must demonstrate ability to thrive and succeed in a challenging environment.
Experience briefing and communicating with high-level customers.
Ability to understand and discuss project status, issues, etc. across the team and offer solutions to any issues.
Provide backup to DTM in their absence.
Create presentations, reports, metrics as assigned.
Attend customer meetings and provide detailed minutes as required.
Provide input on team’s success, accomplishments, roadblocks, etc.
Perform HR duties as assigned (interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, compensation planning, requisition creation and created required documentation therein)
Attend customer meetings, boards, program reviews, etc. Provide inputs on team’s progress, accomplishments, roadblocks, etc. and brief as required. Provide solutions to issue whenever possible.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
