GDIT has an immediate opening for an INTERNATIONAL BENEFITS ANALYST who will support the administration for non-U.S. companies and the Foreign Employee Workforce, as part of the International Human Resources (IHR) team at GDIT. The position will support a growing global footprint by structuring and organizing a comprehensive international benefits program for 25+ countries worldwide. You will be an individual contributor to support the management and administration of international benefits programs that are legally compliant and attractive for recruitment and retention, aligned to company benefits strategy. The position will act as the backup support for other responsibilities within the IHR FEW department, including administration and processing of compensation programs, Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance programs, and assisting with employee records, data entry, and related HR administration.
This position can be 100% remote but candidate should be located in the DC metro area.
A Day in the Life:
Overseeing ~40+ benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement/pension, worker’s compensation/DBA etc.), in addition to Global EAP
Handle day-to-day benefits administration in compliance with local labor laws, to include enrollments, changes, claims, withdrawals;
Liaise and coordinate with benefit brokers, providers, and foreign and domestic legal counsel;
Respond to benefits questions and help resolve any issues;
Organize benefit trainings and/or briefings;
Manage new benefit research, implementation, and communications with stakeholders (managers, employees, finance, legal, contracts);
Analyze survey data, perform benefit benchmarking, and make sound recommendations;
Liaise and coordinate with foreign payroll to ensure appropriate deductions, program managers, other functional departments, and other stakeholders;
Collaborate with leadership and brokers in the management benefit plan renewals, including negotiation of fees, as appropriate;
Invoice management and tracking – coordinating between vendor and Finance to ensure prompt payment;
Ensure payment of statutorily required benefits to appropriate authorities;
Completion of annual renewal compliance paperwork in coordination with U.S. Benefit team and Cigna Global Health Benefits Middle East benefit plan;
Maintain records (employment documents, benefits, etc.), in appropriate HRIS, Shared Network folders, and SharePoint, in compliance with company policy and local labor laws;
Back-up support to other IHR team members for other duties.
In order to be considered:
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of Benefits/Global HR experience
MS Office Suite experience including SharePoint
Some type of HRIS application (PeopleSoft/Workday)
Desired, but not required skills:
Fluence in a foreign language (Spanish, French, Portuguese or Arabic)
