Our work depends on a motivated BI Pre-Review Analyst joining our Personnel Vetting and Security team to support a large federal background investigations (BI) program located in Chantilly, VA.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a BI Pre-Review Analyst, you will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. Focused on our Nation’s security, BIs are required to determine an individual’s suitability for employment with the federal government, eligibility for access to classified information, assignment to or retention in positions with sensitive duties, or other designated duties requiring such investigations. The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individual’s life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Approving quality field investigators reports
  • Your success will be measured through timeliness and the highest quality, while meeting customer needs

  • Experience with background investigations for U.S. Government Agencies (required)
  • Experience with Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and Expandable Focused Investigation (EFI) models (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required; relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education (required)
