Our work depends on a Financial Analyst joining our team to support the Diplomacy sector.  At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Financial Analyst, you will be supporting and analyzing various financial aspects of the Cyber Security Operations Support (CSOS) program.  You will be trusted to provide support to the Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager and Program Manager of that project.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Collects and reviews financial data from various sources.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.
  • Monitors subcontract costs and reconciles subcontract timekeeping and costs for 20 vendor companies
  • Analyzes assigned contracts’ projected staff hours, contract totals, revenues, and profit totals.
  • Maintains appropriate records and documentation.
  • Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Supports assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested.
  • Conducts audits and analysis of their organization’s direct and indirect costs, and reviews their practices and procedures, ensuring that labor and non-labor charges are approved, allowable, and processed in a timely manner.
  • May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
  • Participates in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Participates in special projects as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree plus 2+ years of related experience; OR combination of education, professional training and related work experience
  • Experience supporting financial functions at the program or corporate level
  • Proficient in Excel

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Government Contract experience preferred
  • Experience with Oracle preferred
