GDITs Technology Shared Services Division has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced (junior to mid-level) project scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for creating, updating and coordinating multiple, complex project schedules and creating resource usage model and predictions. As a highly motivated individual with very good organization, technical, and communication skills, you will work with multiple teams of professionals to deliver superior service across multiple programs. In this role, you will work closely with team leaders to build, evaluate, and optimize project schedules and will participate in a cross-functional team environment in development and oversight of development- and IT Program related project schedules as you:
Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects
Ensure that all projects are being scheduled and forecasted using a consistent methodology
Assist or lead in the creation of comprehensive schedule submissions, resource and cost loading as necessary
Regularly review critical path, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones
Provide schedule analysis and metrics to key stakeholders on a regular basis
Collaborate with the project leadership team to perform scenario analysis and provide data to enable decisions
Define an appropriate WBS in line with the adopted project development and project delivery strategy
Develop and implement processes to monitor and control the project through the various phases of the project lifecycle and manage the interface between the various contracts
Participate in the development of standards to support the functional groups in successful delivery of projects
During the execution stage, as a Project Scheduler, you will collaborate with the team responsible for executing the work to monitor and control the project, including:
Updating the schedule and comparing the actual work performed against the baseline program
Reviewing external schedule submittals and incorporate appropriate information into the schedule(s)
Identifying and reporting variances, and regularly updating the schedule and reporting on any changes
Identifying activities impacting the schedule’s critical path and facilitating the identification of opportunities to accelerate completion of the work, or measures to avoid potential delays
Assist in the review of the schedule and status of the plans during all phases of the projects
Reporting on project statuses, trends, forecasts and cashflow • Reporting on project contingency, and schedule risks and opportunities.

You MUST Have:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
2 or more years of project scheduling experience
Intermediate proficiency with scheduling software such as MS Project or Smartsheets;
Demonstrated experience with critical path methodology to ensure and communicate timely delivery of milestone tasks
