Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.
HOW AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Candidate will be involved with building renovation projects pertaining to Information Technology (IT) design and distribution to meet the customer’s mission requirements.
Responsible for reviewing technical documentation and preparing a variety of products for publication, WEB posting, and other means of digital dissemination.
Strong background in the MS Office Suite of programs, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
Familiar with the use of SharePoint Document libraries.
Familiar with basic AutoCAD design and concepts required in reviewing building diagrams to validate IT requirements against customers’ requirements verifying and incorporating customer changes.
Candidate should have a network design understanding including developing Bill of Materials (BOM) for a variety of projects.
Ability to handle/edit large technical documents for grammar, style and publishing for submittals to Government customer and third party vendors.
Extensive understanding of Army G2, NSA, and INSCOM regulations as related to Infrastructure design, Data Centers and Transition Rooms (TR) design requirements.
Have a general understanding of Data Center and Transition room power requirements and general understanding of Data Center and Transition room HVAC requirements.
Understanding of classification marking requirements for technical documents
Troubleshoots and provides technical support and solutions to users
Reviews and analyzes collected data to determine IT User requirements
Must possess excellent writing skills and demonstrate mastery of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Participates in recommending and making changes to hardware and software configurations across a system or network to maximize performance
Performs quality assurance review of specifications for internal and external delivery
Edit technical documents to ensure mechanical correctness (grammar, punctuation and spelling) and stylistic consistency.

Required Experience:
8+ years of related experience
Security Clearance Level:
TS/SCI required to start
Preferred Certifications:
CISSP, CASP+, or Security +
