GDIT is currently seeking to hire a Project Manager. The Project/Task Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the daily management and control over various projects and supporting initiatives undertaken as part of the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&I Distance Learning (DL) Task Order (TO). The Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring the Government’s priorities and requirements are reflected and supported in all projects and initiatives undertaken by the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&I DL TO.

The Program/Task Manager Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors.
Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Manages risk tracking process.
Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison
Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
SCOPE: Manages one or more small to medium sized teams focused on a few or multiple areas. Low to Medium complexity.
It is required that the PM has the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree within a field similar to the scope of this requirement, i.e. computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or business administration.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
It is desirable that the PM has the following qualifications as a Project Manager:
- Experience managing operations, development, and training content development requirements of similar size and scope to those identified in the task order to include content development and maintenance projects for training programs.
- Certificate of ITIL Expert Qualification.
- Experience leading organizations with infrastructure similar to that of the SOW
- Experience leading teams to meet requirements similar to those of the requirements of the SOW to include rapidly expanding its team to meet customer requirements.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related work experience
