At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an experienced Technical Project Lead supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues and provide exceptional customer service. In this role, a typical day will include:


  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area
  • Supervises assigned technical staff and may perform personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
  • Responsible for customer and stakeholder engagement
  • Has a strong technical acumen or background
  • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested
  • Experienced Scrum master and documented ability assisting the product owner to understand and manage the backlog and sprint plan
  • Able to provide clear communication of the vision, goals, priorities and product backlog items to all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with long term planning in an empirical environment.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and strategic thinking across contracts/entities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements


  • Familiarity with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible.
  • Comfortable with data mapping documents, data dictionaries and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Some experience performing Data Analysis and Data validation
  • Some understanding of ETL processes
  •  Familiarity with security best practices and accreditation.
  • Experience with visualization products such as Tableau, Cognos or PowerBI

15+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Level:
Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
