JOB DESCRIPTION

The project manager is responsible for delivery of customer focused projects. The candidate will work closely with various software engineering, infrastructure and technical operations teams, as well as other project managers to assess requirements, coordinate resources and deliver projects for our customer. The Project Manager must possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills while having the ability to articulate highly technical and complex project requirements to both customers and internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Engineering PM/SI Role:

  • Demonstrated ability to translate in-depth technical requirements from legal guidance, policy, and regulations and be able to act as a liaison between technical teams, management, legal/policy points of contact, and end users/analysts.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical implications of IC and customer regulations, memorandums, and Executive Orders and implement requirements on the program's strategic roadmap.
  • Demonstrated experience managing applications development projects using methodologies like agile and scrum in the Sponsor's space.
  • - Demonstrated experience managing critical data engineering/ETL projects and have an understanding of the data engineering lifecycle in a complex and continuously changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to fluently represent program technical teams while mindful of the organization's strategic direction in discussions with product owners, end users, data stewards, data owners, component Legal, Mission Center/Directorate leadership, and points of contract external to the customer.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple levels of security data.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing the senior leadership and creating supporting documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience developing technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, high-level briefings, data call responses, roadmaps, and ad-hoc action items.
  • Demonstrated experience managing funding lifecycle, to include supporting Investment requests and Unfunded Requests (UFRs).
  • Perform project/system integration with the ability to organize multiple simultaneous competing requirements.
  • Strong ability to facilitate and participate in meetings, boards, and working groups at the highest levels of the customer, IC, ODNI, and Executive Branch leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience
  • Must possess and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security clearance with polygraph
