The Business Process Analyst will support the integration of multiple data sources into a common data system.


  • Work with the government team to create and implement data governance policies and procedures. Support development and implementation of a data governance strategy and track and provide updates to leadership on governance plan implementation progress
  • Draft documentation and standardized instructions related to DoD Total Force workforce data governance, to include facilitating discussions and follow-ups with stakeholders to appropriately define scope, core team, responsibilities, and use cases requiring data governance board decision-making
  • Work with the government client and data system owners to document data requirements, understand new data systems, and how they can be integrated together in a common data system
  • Establish and govern an enterprise-wide implementation roadmap to include strategic priorities and key milestones for the creation of combined data capabilities
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with established data related policies, standards, and roles and responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between system owners, functional area representatives, and information technology personnel to ensure a coordinated approach to migrate data to a combined data system. Work to eliminate redundancies in the systems and streamline the process of moving data across multiple IT systems


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Three (3) years of professional experience
  • DoD and/or Federal Government experience a plus
  • Experience coordinating data set migration and an understanding of database frameworks
  • Experience with data reporting and visualization tools including, IBM Cognos, Qlik, Tableau and Databricks
  • Experience producing professional work products such as standardized instructions, white papers, use cases, reports, and briefings relevant to data governance issues/topics (preferred)
  • Ability to qualify for a DoD Secret Clearance
