Provide Microsoft Active Directory expertise

Configure and maintain complex Active Directory forests and domains across a complex network with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects

Work within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests

Create advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting health of Active Directory components

Develops advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

Conducts complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed

Create advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting health of Active Directory components

Develops training materials on the proper use of hardware and software

Develops implementation plans for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels

Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions

Leads efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Provide Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure management

Conducts advanced hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Develops performance and security plans for computers that meet the needs of network users

Evaluates existing systems and plans long-term strategies

Participate in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities

May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

May serve as a team or task lead

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 10+ years of experience

DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance required

Position requires an active TS and SCI eligibly
