Provide configuration management support across all functional areas.
Work with personnel across the organization to foster collaboration, maintain data integrity, and assist to define necessary solution improvements if needed.
Provide board support across multiple configuration control boards.
Provide/develop a solid foundation of technical knowledge.
Develop and maintain configuration baselines as assigned.
Analyze data including, but not limited to: Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and other configuration definition documents.
Maintain effective customer relationships. Facilitate communication flow with internal team and external customers.
Capture meeting highlights/minutes and action items.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret security clearance.
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or five (5) years of configuration management experience with a weapon system application.
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support.
Knowledge of formal change control processes including Local Change Control Board (LCCB) and Change Control Board (CCB).
Experience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programs.
Knowledge of CM Industry Standards.
Self-starter with strong technical skills.
Ability to write clear, logical and grammatically correct documents.
Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customers.
Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment.
Proficient with MS-Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Occasional travel possible.
