The position falls within a subset of a larger team. Excellent communication, attention to detail, teamwork and personal initiative is expected. Backup duties for daily administrative duties, flexibility with your workload as taskings arise, and multitasking abilities are required. Good written arid verbal skills for both behind the scenes activities as well as with in-house customers and applicants. With minimal supervision, the Admin Assistant will pelform the duties of a Recruitment Support Officer (RSO) and is expected to meet and exceed expectation of customers while managing own work under changing requirements; as part of the Sponsor team, note the workload of your peers and assist as needed. Share experiences, lessons learned, verbally and electronically. Demonstrate superior customer service, delivery of mission value, and balance by providing mission-relevant and integrated support to our customers. Communicates daily with multiple in-house recruiters and office stakeholders via email, phone, and in person to ensure needs are met for the hiring Directorates and hiring Divisions. Provide briefings on a regular basis to applicants approximately 4-6 times a month at blitzes on administrative/security/interview processing. Must be comfortable with public speaking in front of small groups. Previous experience with mail merge and data entry; previous customer service experience; highly organized, detail oriented, energetic, and mission focused; proven problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to successfully multi-task, work under pressure with short deadlines and competing priorities, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times is required to be successful in this position. No travel required; no physical requirements. Core hours are 0700-1530 The recruiting schedule requires an early arrival, no later than 7:00 am. on blitz days; later arrival on non-blitz days is possible, discuss with customer. Approximately 4-6 blitzes held each month.
