GDIT is seeking a software Quality Analyst to help support our Columbia ship control software support program.
This position is onsite.
As a software Quality Analyst , for our Columbia ship control software support program in Groton, Connecticut you will perform unit testing of Ada code, using VectorCAST and be responsible figure out complex code, with minimal assistance, and solve test problems.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Performing unit testing of Ada 2005, along with some Java 8 and a little bit of C 99 using VectorCAST or CTC++ test tools. In addition, some new code development and writing of associated test plans.
Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
10+ years experience
Familiarity with version control using Git and/or Synergy
Experience with the design and implementation of software test plans
Experience with identification of test procedures and scenarios for software quality control
Experience providing cross functional support to help resolve software defects and errors
Experience assessing software performance to ensure established quality standards meet
Ability to collect and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to software developers
Resolve highly complex product issues and track progress
Experience identifying areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency
Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in software quality assurance
Ability to coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
Willingness to serve as a team or task lead
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of submarine combat systems
5 + years of related experience

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
