WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Windows system administrator in a professional environment
  • Communication, teamwork, and technical skills

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Active SECRET level clearance or higher
  • Experience and familiarity with virtualization technologies (ex. MS Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco UCS)
  • Extensive knowledge administering and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2, 2016 and 2019 operating systems
  • Experience automating repeatable processes using PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
  • Experience working as a part of a small team and working directly with customers
  • Administration experience with Microsoft products such as: Data Protection Manager (DPM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Exchange or Exchange Online
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform proactive monitoring of system logs, services, scripts, and applications on servers’ systems, storage arrays for internal and customer-facing applications
  • Software and hardware troubleshooting skills to resolve issues
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to support after hours operations as required
  • May require after hours support for system upgrades, etc

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues involving Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Proxy servers
  • Splunk administration experience
  • ITIL Foundations V3 or V4 certification
