GDIT has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 response team. In this role, you will provide project coordination and support for CDCs Vaccines.gov (powered by VaccineFinder) program.

Initial location is remote due to COVID-19 restrictions and is expected to transition to the Roybal Campus located in Atlanta, Georgia. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate meetings with CDC leadership and external partners.

  • Gather system requirements.

  • Develop and update communication materials for Vaccines.gov users and providers.

  • Develop and update processes to effectively support Vaccines.gov activities.

  • Create and present reports on Vaccines.gov status to response leadership as requested.

  • Provide technical assistance to Vaccines.gov users.

  • Coordinate with the program vendor and other stakeholders on enhancements and other activities.

  • Provide data analysis (via R, SAS, or STATA) and informatics support on system data

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of related work experience

  • Experience providing technical assistance in support of an IT system

  • Effective organization and communication skills

  • Experience working with/in the CDC

Desired Skill and Experience

  • Masters degree in Public Health strongly preferred

  • 3+ years in a project lead role strongly preferred

  • Complex project coordination, partner engagement, requirements gathering, and meeting facilitation experience

  • Experience with rapidly developing and implementing digital/tech and data solutions

  • Data analysis and reporting
