1. Develops, organizes, and conducts training on the AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT) to U.S. Navy students in support of the Navy's Aegis Ashore Training program utilizing approved Navy combat tactics, techniques and procedures.

2. Serves as a curriculum or guided discussion instructor and delivers highly complex training courses in support of the Aegis Ashore Team Training (AATT) training objectives to audiences of 10-15 junior and senior personnel.

3. Establishes and reviews course content and objectives in accordance with Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) standards.

4. Participates in special projects, maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies, and versed in the use of training, educational, and multimedia technologies.

5. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.

6. Supports simulations and drills to test student response to system casualties and assesses student knowledge.

7. 10- 25% travel may be required.


Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.


A Navy Cyrptologic Technician Technical (CTT) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience using the AN/USQ-151 JTT to support tactical operations such as Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Mission required. One (1) year experience as an instructor (NEC 9502/805A) in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials, and counseling students on academic learning problems is required. Shipboard Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) participation may substitute experience as instructor. Must be able to support training instruction with extended periods standing.
