Seeking a Java Web Developer to support the Navy’s Manpower Personnel Training Education Enterprise (MPTE) Technical Services Support (TSS) contract in Pensacola, FL.  Great opportunity for a Java developer interested in working on and supporting My Education Navy College Management Information System (NCMIS) and/or Joint Services Transcript (JST) for the Department of Defense.

•    Codes, tests, and debugs computer programs
•    Analyzes, designs, and writes specifications for My Education NCMIS and/or the JST system
•    Assists in identifying and resolving product problems with specific programs
•    Provides web programming and web services support using web development tools to develop, modify, and maintain software
•    Uses development tools to include Java EE web development experience, JSF, JPA, Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL, and HTML to include software coding and compilation; screen development, testing, and maintenance; developing screens using application programming standards.
•    Provides programming, data analysis, documentation, job scheduling, and job monitoring support for data exchange processes between My Education and other interfacing partners and systems

Minimum Qualifications (required skills, experience with technology, etc. needed)

•    2 years of overall general experience with software development, systems support, business processes, system/network/software/hardware integration and cloud infrastructure.
•    Candidate must have working experience with Java EE web development, JPA, Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL, and HTML

•    Experience working with Oracle relational databases

Minimum Certifications
•    CSWF IAT Level II (CCNA Security or SA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+CE or SSCP) to start 

Minimum Security Clearance
•    DoD Interim Secret

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related Degree or Management Information Systems
•    JavaScript, Hibernate, and Web Design
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation and testing of programs
•    Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
